Anna Kendrick joins a K-Pop Band

29 Mar

My dad reads this blog, and I get a perverse pleasure from the fact that he didn’t understand anything in the title of this post.

Anna Kendrick has been great in a bunch of great movies. Outside of movies, she is one of those few stars who continues to be interesting. She is delightful in interviews, she did a music video with Ben Folds Five and the Fraggles (The Fraggles!), and tweets like a boss.

She is also on my shortlist of my “Brunch Buddy Wishlist” (It’s a pretty elite list. Top five include Jane Goodall, Beyoncé, Joss Whedon, Julie Andrews, and Neil Gaiman. Jealous?)

And K-Pop is korean pop.

This video is going to be everywhere for a while.

Why are Neil Gaiman and Julie Andrews not already besties and already making some kind of delightfully dark urban fantasy musical together? Why has this not happened? You need to really get on this Brunch Buddies thing, for the rest of us!

You have no idea how much I love seeing Julie Andrews on a top 5 list that isn’t mine!
